Summary

We do not store your resume data. Your resume is processed entirely in your browser. We do not upload, save, or retain any resume content on our servers. When you close the page, your data is gone.

Information We Do Not Collect

• Resume content — Your resume text is parsed and analyzed entirely in your browser (client-side). It is never sent to our servers for storage.
• Job posting content — The job descriptions you paste are processed locally in your browser.
• Uploaded files — Files you upload (.docx, .pdf, .txt) are read by your browser and never transmitted to our servers for storage.

Information We Do Collect

• Resume text sent to AI — When you click "Build Optimized Resume," your resume text and job posting are sent to the Anthropic API (Claude AI) to generate an optimized version. This data is processed by Anthropic under their privacy policy and is not stored by us. Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models.
• Payment information — If you purchase a download, payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number. Stripe collects your email address and payment details to process the transaction.
• Email address — If you subscribe to the monthly plan, we collect your email address to verify your subscription status. This email is stored by Stripe as part of your customer record.

How Your Data Is Processed

Here is exactly what happens with your data at each step:

• Step 1 (Upload): Your resume file is read by JavaScript in your browser. The file never leaves your device at this stage.
• Step 2 (ATS Score): Keyword analysis happens entirely in your browser. No data is sent anywhere.
• Step 3 (AI Generation): Your resume text and job posting are sent via encrypted HTTPS to the Anthropic API to generate an optimized resume. Anthropic processes this request and returns the result. They do not store your data for training purposes.
• Download/Payment: If you purchase, you are redirected to Stripe's secure checkout. We never handle your payment details.

Local Storage

We use your browser's localStorage to remember your payment status so you don't have to re-verify on each visit. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. We do not use analytics services like Google Analytics. We do not serve advertisements. Stripe may set cookies during the checkout process as described in their privacy policy.

Third-Party Services

Data Security

All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption. We do not maintain databases containing user resumes or personal information. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant — the highest level of security certification in the payments industry.

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

Since we do not store your resume data, there is nothing to delete. For payment-related data, you can contact Stripe directly or email us to request deletion of your Stripe customer record.

If you are a California resident, you have rights under the CCPA. If you are an EU/EEA resident, you have rights under GDPR. Since we do not store personal data beyond what Stripe holds for payment processing, most data subject requests can be fulfilled by contacting us.
